I have found that spiritual gift inventories are rather surprising and affirming at the same time. I honestly think that part of the problem lies in that we insist on calling it "Old." People think that because it is old, it is unimportant. I know it is a small thing, but I usually refer to is as "The Hebrew Bible" in my bulletins now, or even say that the reading is from "The Torah," or "The Prophets," or "The Gospels" and just leave out the whole testament category.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
